The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas

When Bruno’s father, a senior Nazi officer, is moved from his desk job to the countryside, the child tries to make sense of his new surroundings and the changed relationship between his parents.

He befriends a mysterious boy from what Bruno thinks is a local farm, but which is actually something far more sinister.

This child’s-eye view of the Holocaust packs an emotional punch.
